• The Utah gymnastics team first competed in 1976. Since then, Utah is the only team to qualify to every National Championship (39), winning 10 times, placing in the top-3 22 times and never finishing lower than 10th.

• Utah’s overall regular and postseason record includes 1,017 wins - 205 losses - 7 ties.

• Utah gymnastics set the longest regular season home win streak of any NCAA sport - 23 years (1979-2002) and 170 meets.

• Utah has won its regional meet 28 times and been runner-up 11 times.

National Championships


• Utah has won a record ten national championships and been runner-up eight times.

• Utah gymnasts have earned a record 350 All-America awards.
• Utah gymnasts have won 24 Individual Championships.

• The NCAA first sponsored women's championships in 1982. Utah is the only team to qualify for every NCAA Gymnastics Championships (33). Utah has appeared in 39 consecutive Cham pionships - 33 NCAA & 6 AIAW.

• Utah's finishes at the National Championships include: 10-1st, 8-2nd, 4-3rd, 3-4th, 4-5th, 4-6th, 3-7th, 2-9th, 1-10th.

• In 2014 the University of Utah had the highest average home attendance (14,376) for the 30th time and the highest of any NCAA woman's sport 4 of the past 5 years.

Awards

• In 2014 Utah set the NCAA single-season average attendance record of 14,376 per meet.
• Utah had an overflow crowd of 15,558 on hand vs. Florida on March 4, 2011, which broke its own national attendance record of 15,552, set in 2010.
