vault. All
twisting should be completed at the apex of the vault with increasing

The competition touch warm-up on vault will
be the same as the other events (3 minutes plus 30 seconds/exhibition) with
no minimum/maximum number of vaults that may be performed.

Adopt new JO Bonus for Level 10: Two different ÒCÓ elements from
Groups 3, 6, or 7 that are connected do not require turn or flight to receive
Connection Value. 2.
Element

differ from JO (uprise ½, healies, stalder) and add Ò1 ½
pirouette (turn is in handstand, not a healy) = EÓ. 3.

The

BEAM Proposal 1. Relative to the proposed JO changes, we
recommend that á NCAA accept all JO element changes WITH
THE EXCEPTION of the layout stepout which will remain a ÒDÓ : i.
A straddle jump starting and finishing in a
cross position (facing the length of the beam) = ÒBÓ ii.
Straddle jump in side position and all
straddle jumps with ¼ turn = ÒCÓ iii.
Gainer Back layout stepout
= ÒDÓ for difficulty and bonus connection iv.
The front aerial & kickover
(1-foot takeoff) Front Salto, swing through to scale = ÒEÓ á
We do NOT ACCEPT the JO ÒNew
Connection Value PrincipleÓ which states Òa 2 acro
flight element connection (excluding mount or dismount) B+C = +.1 Connection
Value á
[Our Connection Value Exceptions for Layout
Stepouts in BHS combinations will stay the same.] á
[Our
Special Requirements will stay the same (same as JO with the addition of a
dance series).] 2.
Recommend that 5.2d. Òup to the levelÓ deductions in relation to
Beam Dismounts be ELIMINATED:
3. Recommend change to 5.2 b. Insufficient distribution of

I.1 For a maximum of 2 exhibition routines per event be permitted at any NCAA
regular season competition; however, it is left at the discretion of the host
institution to inform the visiting team(s) 1 week in advance if exhibition
performers will be allowed. It
is also up to the host institution to determine whether one or two exhibition
routines will be allowed per event. An additional 30 seconds per exhibition
routine will be added to the 3-minute touch period for that rotation. In
other words, when adding exhibitions, touch warm-ups will be set for 3:30 if
there is only one exhibition performer per event and 4:00 minutes if there
are 2 exhibition routines on any one event. Vault exhibition performers will
be allowed 2 times over the vault table during the touch period regardless of
time. If a team has vault exhibitions and the opponents do not have any
exhibitions, an additional 30 seconds will be added to the warm-up as above
per exhibition – 30 seconds for one vaulter
and 1:00 for two vaulters. All teams, regardless of
whether or not they have an exhibition routine, will receive the total Òtime
on the clockÓ for warm-ups. Finally, exhibition routines must be performed at
the end of the official line-up. |

III.1This proposal requests from the NACGC/W that emergency funds be used for flights when a DIII institution hosts a meet with DI institutions in attendance. This measure will help insure the consistency of the scoring at these meets as compared to meets hosted by Division I schools. Currently, DIII schools are having difficulty securing DI institutions to travel to their meets, with the major reasoning being that the scoring is not the same as a DI meet. Regardless of the validity of this statement, DIII institutions are being put at a disadvantage when attempting to schedule DI teams. This is a simple and cost effective method of resolving this issue |

championships. If a conference
winner is in the top 36, they will assume their position assigned by their

position in the rankings. If there is more than one team outside the top 36
that win their conference championships, they will be assigned the final
spots in the 36 qualifying schools, based on RQS. Example: School A has an RQS of 194, is outside the
top 36, and wins their conference championship. School B has an RQS of 193, is outside the top 36,
and wins their conference championship. School A will be assigned the 35 position, and

Each competitor will be guaranteed two attempts over the table. All efforts should be made to expedite this warm up period so competition of both/all events start at the same time.
